Practice, Revision & Assessment Platform
___________
The e-Madrasah Practice, Revision & Assessment Platform supports learners in study, practice, revision, continuous assessment, tests, examinations, and academic progression.
By registering for or using the Platform, every learner and parent/guardian agrees to understand and abide by these Policies, Rules, Regulations & Academic Guidelines, which are established to promote academic excellence, honesty, discipline, responsibility, fairness, good character, and consciousness of the Almighty Allah.
- Registration and Personal Account
All information provided during registration must be accurate, complete, and up to date. False or misleading information may result in rejection of registration or suspension/withdrawal of access, without refund where applicable.
Each learner is issued a personal account. Login credentials must not be shared with any other person. The learner is responsible for activities carried out through their account, and the Academy will not be responsible for consequences arising from voluntarily shared credentials.
Parents/guardians may assist learners with their accounts and studies but must not use the learner’s account to complete restricted assessments.
- Proper Use of the Platform
The Platform is provided for educational and academic purposes only. Learners must use it responsibly and in accordance with Academy instructions, Islamic values, and the principles of honesty, trustworthiness, discipline, and good conduct.
Any attempt to misuse, disrupt, manipulate, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the Platform is prohibited.
- Practice and Revision
Learners should study and understand each lesson before attempting its practice and revision activities.
Practice and revision are intended to strengthen learning, identify weaknesses, prepare learners for assessments, and improve academic performance. Where an attempt limit applies, attempts must be used wisely and responsibly.
- Assessments, Tests and Examinations
The Academy may conduct lesson assessments, practice/revision assessments, periodic tests, continuous assessments, term assessments, and end-of-class or end-of-level examinations.
Each assessment may have its own time limit, attempt limit, passing mark, eligibility requirements, permitted materials, and other instructions. Learners must carefully follow the instructions given for each assessment.
All formal assessments, tests, and examinations must be completed personally and independently by the registered learner, unless the Academy expressly permits assistance.
- Academic Integrity and Examination Conduct
Cheating, examination malpractice, and academic dishonesty are strictly prohibited.
This includes:
Receiving or giving unauthorized assistance;
Copying or sharing answers;
Allowing another person to take an assessment or use one’s account;
Using another person’s account or credentials;
Using unauthorized books, notes, websites, applications, devices, AI tools, or other resources;
Communicating with others during restricted assessments;
Searching for or obtaining answers through unauthorized means;
Sharing, photographing, recording, copying, or circulating restricted assessment questions or answers;
Manipulating attempts, results, or assessment systems;
Exploiting technical weaknesses or loopholes for an unfair advantage; or
Assisting, encouraging, or facilitating another person to commit any of these acts.
An attempt to obtain an unfair academic advantage may be treated as malpractice whether or not it succeeds.
Learners must begin and submit assessments within the specified time, use only permitted materials, follow all instructions, and report genuine technical problems promptly.
- Islamic Integrity and Consciousness of Allah
Academic honesty is also an Islamic responsibility. The Prophet ﷺ explained Iḥsān:
«أَنْ تَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ كَأَنَّكَ تَرَاهُ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ تَرَاهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَرَاكَ»
“To worship Allah as though you see Him; and if you cannot see Him, then know that He sees you.”
Ṣaḥīḥul-Bukhārī and Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim
A learner must therefore remain honest even when no teacher, parent, or supervisor is present. Allah sees and knows all that we do, and we will be accountable to Him.
Every learner’s conduct should reflect Amānah (trustworthiness), Ṣidq (truthfulness), Taqwā (consciousness of Allah), Iḥsān (excellence), and responsibility.
A result obtained through cheating is not genuine success. Learners are expected to pursue success through sincere study, honest effort, patience, and reliance upon Allah.
- Consequences of Academic Misconduct
Where cheating, malpractice, unauthorized assistance, account sharing, misuse of the Platform, or other serious violations are established or reasonably confirmed, the Academy may take appropriate action, including:
Cancelling the affected attempt or result;
Awarding zero or requiring a reassessment;
Restricting future assessment privileges;
Withholding or cancelling results;
Affecting eligibility for progression or certification;
Suspending or withdrawing portal access; or
Taking other appropriate disciplinary action.
Serious or repeated violations may affect the learner’s academic record, progression, examination eligibility, or certification.
- Fairness, Conduct and Respect
All learners must be assessed according to their own knowledge, preparation, effort, and ability. No learner or any other person should seek or provide an unfair academic advantage.
Learners and parents/guardians must communicate respectfully with tutors, coordinators, administrators, and other members of the Academy community. Abuse, threats, harassment, defamation, offensive communication, deliberate disruption, or conduct contrary to good Islamic manners will not be tolerated.
- Parent/Guardian Responsibility
Parents/guardians are responsible for:
Providing accurate registration information;
Protecting the learner’s account;
Ensuring that Academy announcements and instructions reach the learner;
Supporting an appropriate study environment;
Ensuring that the learner understands and follows Academy rules; and
Encouraging honesty, independence, discipline, and good Islamic character.
Parents/guardians may support learning but must not complete restricted assessments or provide unauthorized assistance.
- Learning Materials and Intellectual Property
Lessons, videos, quizzes, assessment and examination questions, notes, books, recordings, graphics, documents, question banks, and other materials provided through e-Madrasah remain the intellectual property of AS-SURUR OPEN ACADEMY, unless otherwise stated.
They must not, without written permission, be copied, reproduced, published, redistributed, uploaded, sold, commercially exploited, or shared with unauthorized persons.
Restricted assessment and examination materials must not be circulated or used to compromise assessment integrity.
- Fees, Access and Eligibility
Platform access is subject to the applicable Academy fees, registration requirements, and payment conditions. Registration without the required payment and valid proof of payment may not be processed.
Access may be restricted or withdrawn for violation of Academy policies, academic malpractice, misuse of the Platform, unauthorized access, serious misconduct, or failure to meet applicable administrative or payment requirements.
Payment for access does not exempt any learner or parent/guardian from complying with Academy rules.
- Technical Problems and Assessment Interruptions
Learners are responsible for ensuring, as far as reasonably possible, that they have a suitable device, stable internet connection, sufficient power, and an appropriate environment before beginning an assessment.
Genuine technical problems affecting an assessment must be reported to the Academy promptly with sufficient details. The Academy will review the matter and determine the appropriate action.
- Results and Academic Progression
Practice, revision, tests, and examinations are intended to measure and support genuine academic progress.
Promotion to the next lesson, class, or level may depend on applicable passing marks, assessment results, completion requirements, academic performance, attendance, or other Academy conditions.
The Academy may review, correct, withhold, or cancel a result where there is evidence of technical error, malpractice, irregularity, improper completion, account/identity concerns, or other circumstances requiring review.
- Privacy
Personal information provided to the Academy will be used for legitimate educational, administrative, assessment, certification, and communication purposes.
The Academy will take reasonable measures to protect such information and will not disclose it except where necessary for legitimate Academy operations, with appropriate authorization, or where required by law.
- Academy Authority and Amendments
AS-SURUR OPEN ACADEMY reserves the right to monitor, investigate, and review Platform activity where reasonably necessary to protect academic integrity, assessment security, learner accounts, learning materials, and the proper operation of the Platform.
The Academy also reserves the right to update or amend its policies, rules, fees, academic procedures, assessment requirements, progression requirements, and Platform features whenever necessary. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
Continued use of the Platform after applicable changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policies.
Declaration and Agreement
By registering for and using the e-Madrasah | AS-SURUR OPEN ACADEMY Practice, Revision & Assessment Platform, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Policies, Rules, Regulations & Academic Guidelines.
I understand and agree that:
I will use the Platform responsibly and for its intended educational purposes.
I will protect my personal account and login credentials.
I will complete assessments, tests, and examinations honestly and independently.
I will not cheat, engage in academic malpractice, or provide or receive unauthorized assistance.
I will follow all assessment instructions and respect the Academy, its staff, learners, and learning materials.
I understand that my conduct should reflect honesty, trustworthiness, discipline, good Islamic character, and consciousness of Allah.
I understand that violations may result in cancellation of results, loss of assessment privileges, suspension of access, or other appropriate disciplinary action.
Commitment
I undertake to pursue academic success through sincere study, honest effort, good conduct, patience, and reliance upon Allah, in shā Allah. May Allah guide me, help me, and grant me success. Āmīn.
